The Riverside County Registrar of Voters office certified the results of the Nov. 3 consolidated general election today (Monday) and forwarded the certified results to the Board of Supervisors. The final, official election results and statement of votes are available on the Registrar of Voters’ website at www.voteinfo.net.
Due to the extremely high activity of West Nile virus, the Riverside County Vector Control Program has scheduled ultra low volume (ULV) ground applications Thursday (10/29) in Moreno Valley using truck mounted sprayers. The treatment reduce the risk of disease transmission to humans and animals by reducing the number of adult mosquitoes in a neighborhood.
Monday (Oct. 19) is the deadline for voters to register and be eligible to cast a ballot in the Nov. 3 election.
Approximately 86,000 vote‐by‐mail ballots will be mailed to voters starting Monday (Oct. 5) for the consolidated general election on Nov. 3. Ballots should arrive in mailboxes by the end of next week. Completed ballots must be received at the Registrar of Voters Office or any polling place within Riverside County no later than the close of polls on Election Day or be postmarked on or before Election Day and received no later than three days after Election Day to be counted.
Approximately 140,000 sample ballots and information pamphlets started going out to Riverside County voters today (Sep. 24) for the consolidated general election on Nov. 3. About half will be mailed initially, with the remainder sent by early next week.
